Trophy winners from the Mini Olympics

Class 2 with Miss Robinson designed and made a banner for the mini Olympics in June based on our drawn country of New Zealand.
The banner was paraded at the mini Olympics and judged to be the winner, it was then judged against the winner of the 2nd day of the Olympics and it won. The Bronze Ambassadors were called up to the stage to show the banner to all the schools competing.

Y3 with the banner
Our Bronze Ambassadors welcomed Carl from Inspire+ to our special celebrations assembly.

Carl showed us the photos from the day and why the banner won: it was the children's work and it showed the cultural, geographical and sporting nature of New Zealand.

Danny, Tessa and Miss Robinson receive the trophy.

Telling us about the banner.

Well done all of class 2 for the hard work that went into the winning banner.

Gym club, Play Leaders and Kurling.

Class 3 enjoying kurling in the hall for PE.

Don't know if the sweeping actually helped!

Gym club practising their routine for theie next competition.

Play Leaders did Goal Ball with different groups of children.

Really difficult just listening for the ball( with bells in it) rather than looking for it!

By laying down and long  you are trying to stop goals .

Thanks Play leaders: George, Ben, Luca and Arthur.

Tennis competition

4 children made up our tennis team playing at Grantham Tennis Club.

Our 2 boys and 2 girls arriving for the competition.

The boys pair did not loose a match.
Well done and as everyone is Y 5 or Y4 then they all qualify for next year.
Thank you Mrs.Corston for taking and accompanying the team.
