Sports Day 2017

On a very hot June 19th  ( after much discussion about the weather and how to minimise time in the sun) we held our annual Sports Day at the Village Hall Playing field.
Children worked in their houses with each house split into 2 groups rotating around the field taking part in 8 different sporting activities scoring as many points for their house as they could.

Mr.Beal( one of our governors) presented the Robins with their trophy for the field events.

Kingfishers won the sprint race trophy.

Despite the heat we managed a successful Sports Day with lots of parents watching and encouraging children during their events.
