Netball league Matches

We played our first 2 league matches, having qualified for league 2 from our Autumn matches( a high league).Unfortunately we were without 2 of our experienced year 6 team members so Mrs Chadwick knew we would have to play really well as a new team with Andrew and Isabella playing in  their first matches.
Game 1 was against  a Grantham Preparatory team and we won a close match 5-4.
The second game was against Barrowby-again another close match which we won 4-3.
                                                        Amazing, brilliant, fantastic.
We did it! We won.

Proud and pleased with ourselves. The friends and supporters that came to watch us enjoyed a good evening watching the 2 netball matches.
We played well as a team and benefited from Isabella's prowess at scoring goals.

Back at school on Sport Relief Day ( hence the unusual sports gear) we were presented with a certificate recognising our team work and effort.

Hockey

Now we are learning new skills-ready to put into games. Defending and tackling is hard work!
