Boxercise,Dance clubs and Football .

Lots of PE this term with our Inspire+ coaches both in school and after school.
Sophie is doing Boxercise with class 3 ( children requested this after enjoying it last year).

Dance.

Micky has Dance club after school for Y 1,2,&3 every Monday.

Class 1  Dance

Class 1 enjoy Dance every Tuesday with Beth where they are making a penguin dance as part of their topic on Penguins this term.

Football Club.

Peter coaches Y 3,4,5  6 every Thursday at our football club. They have managed to stay outside but it is getting quite dark by 4.30!

Hockey Club and our Football Team

Peter enjoyed coaching the group in matches against each other in the last Hockey Club session.

Lots of skills learned and put into matches.

Our Football Team played in the small school tournament last Thursday. Matches were given 1 minute between as the weather was growing dark and so there was no time for a photo until the team got back to school( minus 3 children!)

The team played well with Harry as captain showing good spirit but unfortunately they did not qualify past the 1st round of matches.

Mrs James has started coaching her next group: Year 3&4 children.

Netball League matches round 2.

Netball:
With a slightly different team this week  we headed to Priory for our next 2 league matches.

We play TGPS 1st ( the team that will probably be the whole league winners!) and did well to restrict our loss to 7-0.
Our 2nd match against St. Sebastians saw us win 8-0.

A great evening; 2 wins, 2 losses not bad for a completely new team learning their craft.
