Sportshall Athletics-Bronze Medalists

2 teams represented Marston at the Grantham and District Sportshall athletics event at The Meres on Thursday. Children had to complete field and track events, competing in a maximum of 2 field and 2 track events. Events were: 1 lap relays, 2 lap relays, obstacle relays and 4X1 lap relays, standing long jump, triple jump, vertical jump, speed bounce, soft javelin and chest push throws.Points were awarded dependent on placings. Totals were read out at the end and we came 3rd. (2 points away from finishing 2nd!). A fantastic team effort from all involved.

A huge thanks to the parents who gave their time transporting children and a special thanks to those who were able to stay and help me make sure the  children competed in their correct events ( not as easy as it sounds  as field and track events ran simultaneous !)
