Badminton

Rod asked me to help him this week and I soon found out why he needed help! Children were learning how to perform the overhead shot and had a balloon suspended from a pole to aim at.Children were worried the balloon would burst but it was a specially reinforced one and could be hit really hard as I found out when I held one of them for half the group to aim at!
Rod teaching how to stand and how to aim to complete the shot successfully.

Really going for it!

Perfect body and arm position

Balloon held high to teach children to reach high for their shots

all having a turn

One group with Rod, the other was with me on the opposite side of the hall.

Some great powerful shots.

I look forward to seeing these shots in a game soon.
